Norma Lee  Garrison (Fraizer)
Norma Lee Garrison, age 78, of Carl Junction, Mo., passed away on Saturday July 8, 2017, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Mo., following an illness.
Norma was born December 22, 1938 in Carl Junction, Mo., the daughter of the late Fred and Lulabell (Wilson) Fraizer. She has been a lifetime area resident and graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1957. She married George Garrison in 1957 in Carl Junction and he proceeded her in death in 1980. Together they raised three daughters. She was a devoted wife and mother. For thirty-seven years she owned and operated Norma’s Beauty Salon in Carl Junction, Mo.
Norma is survived by her three daughters, Rhonda Benford (Brian), Joplin, Mo., Sonya Garrison (Tim Bartley) Carl Junction, Mo, and Lisa Normand (Tim), Pittsburg, Ks.; three brothers, Ernie Fraizer (Charlotte), Wichita, Ks., Merle Fraizer, Carl Junction, Mo., and Bill Fraizer (Connie) Carl Junction, Mo.; one sister, Charla Reid, Dallas, Tx.; one sister-in-law, Judy Fraizer; Carthage, Mo., A brother- in- law, Bill (Karen) Garrison of Joplin. six grandchildren, Tyler and Jessica Benford, Grant, Garrett, Brett, and Blake Normand. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and families. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Marion Fraizer; and two sisters-in-law, Dora Fraizer and Edna Fraizer.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Christian Church of Carl Junction, Carl Junction, Mo. Bob Simon will officiate. Burial will be in Carl Junction Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Grant, Garrett, Brett, Blake, and Tim Normand, Brian Benford, and Tim Bartley.
The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
