Condolence: I am sorry for your loss. If Jesus were here he could comfort us – but the record of how he comforted Martha when her brother, Lazarus died, can comfort us now. In John 11:11 Jesus likened death to sleep, we understand waking up refreshed. So when Jesus saw Martha he told her, in verse 23, that Lazarus would rise. She believed what He had taught. She didn’t realize that it would happen that day! What Joy that was for her! But then, if Jesus can and wants to reunite us why do we die in the first place? Contact me, I will show you what the Bible says.
