Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara King
Condolence: I remember Brother Marcum as a professor and administrator at Ozark Christian College. I enjoyed the few classes I had with him, I respected him as an instructor, mentor, and one who cared about his students. There was a few times he took me aside to help me with a few personal matters, but I knew that in doing so as an elder of his church, that this was something he would have done with anyone else too. I was struggling at the time to take care of a few matters and am thankful for the assistance that he provided. I have often admired the volunteer work that he and Sonya did after they retired, especially with the Magic Moments, which I have reason to think was working with special needs kids (or individuals), which is close to my heart (since I have difficulty with mental health issues myself, and have also worked with special needs people over the years also). I am thankful and blessed for knowing the Marcum's over the years, and pray that the family will be comforted by the Lord during this time of difficulty.
