Condolence: As people have said -- Bill was a "gentle" man and exemplary encourager -- years ago as a young librarian -- that was what I needed. I will enjoy catching up with his interesting conversation in the sweet bye and bye. He is no doubt missed in Ozark land as much as he has been in Christian library land since his retirement.

Condolence: Bill was truly "a gentleman and a scholar" in every sense of the word. He had that soft-spoken drawl and twinkle in his eye that endeared himself to everyone he met.
