Obituary for Sherri J. Yocum

Sherri J. Yocum age 57 of Duenweg, Mo. passed away Tuesday January 10, 2012 at Freeman Hospital following an illness. Sherri was born September 6, 1954 in Nevada, Mo. to Charles Jack and Margaret Lou Jean (Dahmer) Stiles.
Sherri worked as a home health nurse for St. John’s before becoming disabled in 1997.
Sherri married Michael Ray Yocum on June 15, 1972 in Joplin, Mo., he survives. Additional survivors include one son, Adam Yocum of Duenweg; two daughters, Kari Yocum of Duenweg and Lindsey Lawver and husband Jake of Joplin; three brothers, Lane Stiles of Nashville, Tn., Kent Stiles of Houston, Tx., Brad Stiles of Alma, Ar.; one sister, Kelli Stiles of Los Angeles, Ca.; her sister-in-law and best friend Cheryl Yocum McKinney of Caldwell, Tx. and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mason-Woodard Chapel; James Lankford, Minister, officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association or the Mhala Mhala Foundation in care of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
